i have yet to sow any leeks, am i to late or are there some varieties i could still put in ASAP???

what would you recommend.

I recommend that you get cracking.

The most common is musslebrough. Though there are several others, all are good.

Grow them out doors following the instructions on the packet.

Even late grown leeks will give produce. They may not have a huge girth but even little ones, spring onion size upwards can be used raw or cooked.

You can pick up leeks from places like Homebase/B+Q/ etc... will give you a bigger product but are ridiculously expensive...  :-\

i have some musslebrough but noted that sowing was march/april so wondered if any others were for later sowings. might have to put in and keep fingers crossed ;)
