what next for my cucumber.

they have been growing in my potting shed. They are 7"-8" high.

Would like to put them out but not sure what to do about protecting them. I intend to use a weed mat. And also under glass if you think its a good idea. Any other ideas please.

Hello. You need to look on the packet and see wether they are for in or out. Some are self pollinating (in) some are not so they need buzzy things to pollinate(out)
