Heligan is a magical place. I knew it before it was restored. I use to play there as a child.. ahem... that was over 40 years ago now; back when summers were always sunny and I don't remember any rainy days. Ahhhhhh happy memories.  ;)

I agree .The book and tape are wonderful.

We visited on a day when it was pouring of rain and still enjoyed it.

It was very poignant to see the old gardeners names still there ,scribbled on the wall.They were all lost in the war.
