We already pay a block paving tax - it's called VAT, 17.5%.  ;D

Has he not thought about the carbon footprint of yer average electric lawnmower then?  ;)

When we can afford it, we're going for the 50/50 option - 50% paved drive, 50% grass and plants.  So if I get a refund on the 'garden' part to offset the tax on my hard-standing, me and the government will be evens? :D

l agree with you all all l seem to be doing is work work and not a lot at my lottie so do you think that if Brown cut the TAX we my be able to live a little better because as it stands well your guess is a good as mine
