Plum Tree Blossom - Protect From Frost?

I noticed today, when I went to plant my potatoes in the hail (!) that my plum tree has come into blossom with about 1/3rd of the flowers open.

Given that the weather is supposed to turn v cold over the next couple of days in southern england do you think I should wrap fleece around it to protect the blossom?
