Oh so you can do them with out a prop.  Thats great.  I'll still leave it a few weeks though as I've no greenhouse or cold frame, just my conservatory which is heated on a low temp for the present.  When they need to go out I will probably cover with a homemade polythene cloche at my lottie.  Unless the temperature shoots up by then!  We live in hope.
