After doing a google image search on runner beans they seem to look very much like painted lady

.....just checked my packet of saved seeds.....my Painted Ladies are of darker hue 8)......still sticking with Borlotti ....dried some & made a bracelet for the grand last year.....still look just like that ;D

Whatever.....a bean they are!...have fun growing them - oh! and post a pic of the produce, won't you?
