My potatoe question

I have a largish plastic/vinyl sheet pegged out as weed suppressant,

I have the manure to spread under it and dont mind slits in it to

grow spuds through.

Am i pushing it to get two crops from the same spot in one season,

is disease going to be a prob etc .

I wouldn't risk it with two crops of the same... as Blight can be an issue but def follow on with leeks or cabbage...
Is the vinyl going to let light through? If so give a good top mulch to keep the light off the tubers..

No its deff not letting light through its heavy duty banner type vinyl,
second crop of something else sounds like the way to go.
