Agralan slug and weed mat

Has anyone used this product and if so does it work?  The blurb says it is impregnated with copper and I gather it can be used under pots and in borders. I had no joy with copper tape around my pots so I'm sceptical...

Haven't heard of this one (it's a bit dear isn't it, I just googled!) but a relative is trying something new this summer, which is standing pots on top of those green scouring pads, the square nylon type. At least I suppose it's a way to use those old scourers  ;D

I agree it isn't cheap Jenny but then neither is copper tape and it's useless.   :(  I don't want to rain on your relative's parade but I really cannot see those scouring pads working either but if they do, please let me know.   ;D
