Northerner - since you are staying in Acton, how about a trip to Hampton Court?  Get yourself on the District Line (green line) to Richmond and then a bus from outside the station straight to HC (sorry can't remember the No off top of my head)

I've booked the duck tour for sunday afternoon thats all. Weather looks lovely for weekend So southbank stroll sunday morning. Son wants to visit Tussauds and Dungeons and we all want to go on the eye, so as and when for them. Looked at the riverside cafe for maybe Monday evening , is the food nice? I think we've got loads to do during the day its the evenings now i'm looking at. Although we'll be ready for bed i reckon. Chinese new year aswell so China town Saturday night.

Arhgh mi legs. Got back yesterday had a brilliant time. All that walking made me realise how unfit i am. Did Tussauds, eye, natural history and science museums. 3 days not long enough. Son thought tube was great.
