1st February - Official day of spring

Did you know, that according to the Gregarion calender that 1st February is considered the First day of Spring...
In Irish culture this still stands today :)

Just something I found out about 1st February by the Priest at church, as he was telling me that my birthday was a special day.  Put a big grin on my face anyway :D

Congrats to you - it was my birthday saturday 2nd - but it sure does not feel like spring here (we walked in the snow over Ilkley moor in the afternoon!).
