I'm going to try some really early crops just for fun - doesn't really matter if I get a proper harvest or not. Has anyone tried sowing turnips under cover? Otherwise I understand they'll germinate in temperatures as low as 4 degrees?
For myself I am an optimist - it does not seem to be much use being anything else.

All brassicas germinate really easily....
