I was literally just reading this morning that you should cut them down in the new year as they grow on new wood - unlike summer raspberries.  This is my first year of growing them, and I think I prefer them to the summer ones.

Joan J are a lot more expensive 5 for £11 while others are £5 for £10.
Do you think they are worth the extra money ???  Or does anyone have some spare I can have for postage ??

We usually cut them down in December/January and they are dormant at that time. I can thin them out and let you have some roots. Can you pm me nearer the time?
Thank you very much I will pm you in December.

My summer fruiting Glen Moy is now covered in green fruit, does this mean it won't fruit in the summer?
