This was my only surviving melon, 'harvested' today, .......pathetic eh! About enough for a mouthfull..... ::)

Jeannine, your watermelon looks lovely.
And Deb P: you harvested more then I did.

I had three watermelon plants (Sugar Baby), four Cantaloupe Chartenais and six  plants from selfsaved seeds (the big question mark packet) and none of them bore fruits.
They all had flowers and were outside on a very sunny spot. They were protected against wind with a lot of flowering stuff around them.  But I guess they were not pollinated anyway.
Or is there another condition that I did not meet?
