Yay I have another interview

its tomorrow and im starting to get nervous about the skills test...

"The skills test will only be a short 'in-tray' test, lasting
approximately 10 minutes. 
This will be a library related activity and will not involve any IT
skills."

what on earth does that mean???

I went for a temp job in a library once and had to put a heap of books into alphabetical order.....  ???

I saw that emmy but didnt think they would do that to me! The test is after my interview so I'm thinking it will be more library oriented... like ordering books.

not been in a uni library for years - i remember the numbers and then the letters but its a bit of a simple test really if thats all it is (famous last words!)  Just found this - I passed

I spoke to my librarian friend.  She thought it might be a test in retrieving things, a specific task working with the public, helping find something online or on the shelves,how you'd catalogue something, helping the public or retrieving things.

Good luck - do let us know how you get on.  My daughter is currently a library assistant though is leaving to go to China for a year - she has really enjoyed working there though I expect a uni library is a bit different.
