potato harvest

Managed to get to the plot today after 2 fairly dry days. Found the tops of the first 2 rows of potatos we sowed, dying back. Thought it might be the blight,  but it was only the leaves gone curly and dried up. The stems were still green. Dug up one whole row (about 18 foot long), and got out 24 lbs of spuds. Some are a bit scabby, but it looks more like slug nibbles than anything else. I think they were 2nd earlies, but can't find any info on them. They were called Bambino. Seed bought from Wyevale I think.

Is that harvest about right for a row that long? Never grown spuds before.

Will the other row be OK left in the ground, as we are going away for 4 nights from tomorrow morning and that amount of spuds will last us 3 or 4 weeks at least?

I know early spuds don't store well, so is it best to leave in the ground until needed, or can they be frozen?

They don't store well but will be OK for two or three months! I'd leave them in until you come back... but you may get more slug damage if it stays wet!
