Update on abandoned cockerel

Well, a guy came after we had owned the cockerel two weeks and after we had bought 3 hens and after we spent 3 days making hen house etc.
He was a gypsy from about a mile away and said he wanted his bird back !!
Hubby explained how much time, effort and care we had given to the bird so he replaced it with another.
Chickens are starting to lay so everyone is happy ! :) :)
