too late for tomatoes?

is it too late to put in outdoor tomatoes for this year?  Been too wet and cold for whole month and first truss only just appearing.

When you say, put in, if you mean plant out small tomato plants, then you may well get away with it if you don't get the blight. I've only just popped some in that I was just too busy to get round to doing, I haven't put them in the main tomato area but hope to get at least something from them.
