Went down the lottie this morning and had a good old harvesting session, picked two of Jeannine's 'Shasta' cauliflowers...........huge! ;D ;D

Had a look at my Romanesco caulis whilst I was grovelling under the nets, they are bulking up nicely now (summer maturing ones from Real Seeds), but I noticed one has a very dark green almost purplely tinge to it surrounding the more lime green 'swirls'. Only one out of the six plants in that bed seem to be affected, it doesn't look big enough yet to be getting ready to 'blow', any ideas please?
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

Within the same batch do you mean? It could be I suppose, I was just worried it was some kind of nutrient deficiency, although if it was that the others would be affected as well.

It's the first year for some time anything has been grown on the plot, so although I prepared the ground as well as I could before planting and have given regular foliar feeds of seaweed I'm a bit paranoid about finding hidden diseases and nutrient/mineral deficiencies!!
