Tom Type

I have to confess to not making a note of the type of tom. that North Pole is when I was swapped some :-[  Can anyone help me out as I'm hoping to sort out final sites for stronger looking plants over the long weekend?  Cheers.

Well you have stumped me on this one. I have heard of Santa , Arctic Choice,Sub Arctic Plenty and Northern Exposure but not North Pole. The name suggests it is  short season one for cooler climates,I would guess is is probably a bush,but in doubt I would  err on the side of caution and treat it as such.  I would love to hear the answer whn you find it please XX Jeannine

Elkebbe-could you re-phrase that please? I too have never heard of North Pole.

But no doubt T&M will offer it soon as `New and Exclusive`

North Pole-a new variety that crops well even in perma frost-the flavour is excellent but watch out for Polar Bears stealing your crop.

Of course this wasn't really a slip up on my part, but actually a cunning  ploy to see what interest there would be in my soon to be released new tomato and to nick a few marketing ideas  ;D

Back in reality though, I guess it means I've managed to misremember the name as well as forget the type  ::) - explains why I couldn't find anything on google.  Maybe this will finally teach me to be organi ..... nah! ;D ;D

Well, I'll look up Northern Exposure Jeannine, and I think I noticed a Northern Lights while I was googling earlier - see what they say, and then treat it as a bush (which is what I was hoping it was anyway!)

Love the notion of a tomato named Santa btw - there should be one named 'Rudolph's Nose' too  :)

Ellkebe, a thought has just struck me. There was a series of tomatoes bred in Alaska that were called the Polar series, I don't know how many there was in the series but a bit of googling might turn it up. I know of 4 and have seeds for  the first 3.

Polar Baby,Polar Beauty, Polar Star, Polar Gem.

Could this be what you are looking for. They are early producing determinates.
