Allotment seeker...

Hello
I've recently moved to St Margarets, Twickenham, and am wondering how I might go about renting an allotment. Are they easy to come by, or are they like gold dust??
I suspect the latter but thought I'd ask...

I'd suggest you ring your local council and ask for the allotments officer.  Or try www.kingston.gov.uk (Twickenham does fall within the Kingston area, right?) and search for allotments
