getting boring now!!!!

Im sorry and I have sympathy for anyone having trouble with work and work conditions etc but i am getting really ticked off by these postal strikes after all it mainly affects innocent customers and what about other businesses having to pay compensation or for courier services etc, ok mine is only personal post but come on guys enough is enough. nurses and many other people have had pensions ruined, stopped withdrawn and we still have had no sign of the pay rise due in april in fact we are gonna have it in two halves allegedly with no back pay for half just cos its saving the government millions to do it this way, course it is its our wages!! but do we strike no there would be hell to pay if we did

I don't think I'm paid enough.
If I went on strike my clients would go elsewhere,
and my business (I'm a self-employed sole trader) would close.

I posted my bid for a special voyage the day before the strike.
It may never get there:  if it does it'll be late.
I will probably lose the bid.

M is waiting for an appointment with an orthopaedic surgeon.
If the letter is delayed she may miss her surgery.

The letter inviting me to a blood donor session has not arrived.
I 'phoned and asked:  but how many didn't bother?

This strike could mean the end of Royal Mail.

I thought they were striking to not have a drop in income which, however inconvenient for us, sounds like they might have a point.

i believed they were striking cos of pensions and also because they want to finish their round in their own time then stop not be made to work the full 37 hours and 20 minutes they are employed for so because people who are slower at their own rounds dont get extra work to do. no they shouldnt have a pay cut but they do have us over a barrel cos there is no one else to post our letters

Got post this morning, a gas statement , i pay monthly by DD and can get that online and 3 junk mails which went into the recycling after a quick glance!! I am expecting something from e bay but i am sure if royal mail went out of business
something else would take over. not sure about this. workers have got to stick up for their rights but is suicide the answer?
