my naughty children

cant believe i am on this forum at such an unearthly hour (5.35). my children aged 8 and 5 have their cousin staying for a sleepover and they have been awake since 4am :o >:( ::).   they have had the sharp end of my tongue twice and threats to send said cousin home and now they are sleeping like angels. but i am still awake ??? dont know how i ever survived the sleepness nights when they were babies, as these days i am a right old grump!! anyway the dawn chorus was nice...

ahhh kids eh!  It will get better - soon you will be screaming at them to get up when they hit 12!

I love getting up early at the weekends - love the quiet - everyone in bed... get to sort my seeds out in peace or read a gardening mag with a cuppa... ahhh bliss!

Oh Sarah, I saw this and laughed! Sorry. my girls are exactly the same when they have someone staying. when it's just us or a school day i have to crowbar them out of bed.
I don't know how i got through the baby years either - i do love my sleep. Pre 7am I don't function!

We went otu to a 50th last night and friends boys stayed home with ours... get back to find 14 yr old has a black eye!!!!

Not by children but childish, an ex bf was telling me a story of a night out with the lads (flat mates?) - anyway, they shaved half of someone's head  :o

I have ex bf who did the same to his friend - half his head, one eyebrow, half his goatee beard thing. I thought it was quite cruel and i think we fell out over it a bit... ::) :P ;D
