Celeriac setback

I have been somewhat beset by disaster in my attempts to grow celeriac. Twice I have sown seed trays of the stuff (Prinz), and twice I have managed to fry them in the sun (my fault, obviously, but where I live the choice for seedlings is either somewhere so shady that they grow rather leggy, or in full sun where they can get scorched if I am not careful - particularly in the warm weather we have been having).
My question is this: is it too late to try a third sowing?

I had the same problem last year with 2 sowing failures. Did a 3rd sowing actually later than this, and they didn't come to anything. Too small to use, what with them being all knobbly  ??? But if you can spare the space, why not have a go?
