I read the message boards re erecting greenhouses and it filled me with fear. Those stories are all true.

I (and my wife) have almost finished building our 6 by 4 greenhouse but i have several problems.
I don't know how to fix the aspring glazing clips, there are 144 of them.It must be easy as the instructions just say secure the clips, but every which way doesn't work. Can someone please help.
The other problem is the 'H' profile joiner strips, i can't seem to fit the upper panels to the strips. You can't put much force on them as they are only plastic panels.

I would appreciate any advise on this as we spent most of the bank holiday building the greenhouse only to be stumped right at the end.

Thanks in anticipation

Rob

Look at checking glass in above site, it shows a clip holding the glass in, hope this helps.

I think you have to spring the glass in, example, put glass in top and bottom and put H section on the two panes, you will have glass panes bulging towards you , then push in the middle and it should spring in place then put clips in place.

job done.
it was really hard work but feel proud of myself as a non DIYer
Bought the slatted table to go with the greenhouse, and put that together as well. That was actually quite poor quality but still does the job.
Now my greenhouse is full of toms, peppers, cougettes, cucumbers and sugar snap peas.oh and beetroot.Don't like them but thought they might taste different if i grow them myself, and the leaves look great a reddy colour
Haven't been this excited about something for years

;D
