Does anyone know where I might be able to send for seeds or buy a couple of plants or cuttings online?

If you mean the yellow skunk cabbage, it's Lysichiton americanus and the RHS says you can buy it here in your area:

I think it looks amazing and I'd love it in the damp bit of my plot. All the places to get it are a bit away from me but I'll keep an eye out anyway.

If you've got a boggy bit try celery and Celeriac... both marsh plants... or really push the boat out and grow some Marsh Parsnip (Skirret)..

Oh no, not Skunk cabbage, it is foul, it grew wild all around me in Canada, everywhere,it is absolutely disgusting stuff,are you sure you really want it? It really does stink bad.
