I've just ironed a denim shirt that I wear for gardening & I found some purple queen seeds in the pocket. Are they doomed after  40deg wash ::).

Life is too short to iron....

(After a 40 degree wash & a hot iron I think they might be past their best, but there's only one way to find out!)

grannyjanny

I didn't iron them, only washed them ::).

goodlife

Ohh..silly you  ::)...never mind...auntie 'goody' had got some spare ones if you would wish so ;)

grannyjanny

Thank you very much Auntie. That is very kind of you ;). Have you got everything done that you needed to?

goodlife

Nah..total lack of self discipline...better things to do and more interesting...that's why I'm lingering here ;D

Jeannine

I bet they grow.. have to for anyone dopey enough to iron their gardening gear..you must have too much time on your hands gal.. :D :D

When God blesses you with a multitude of seeds double  the blessing by sharing your  seeds with other folks.

grannyjanny

I don't usually but it was very creased ;).

What is ironing? ;D

I would that thought they could stand the 40c but not sure that the detergent would have done them any favours.  I do not think they will like being dried out again and it is rather late for a crop, suggest a bucket so you can bring them inside.  If they do germinate it will be amazing.

grannyjanny

I haven't sown them Digeroo. Just asking the question :).

Digeroo

Why not give it a go anyway.  So then  you will know.

grannyjanny

Isn't a bit to late now?

saddad

I think it's too late (in the season) to sow them now... at least it wasn't a £5 or £10 note...  :-X
