Sorry if this has been asked before - I can't seem to access the "search" facility.

Has anyone used Nemaslug and is it any good?  I used some slug pellets last year that said it didn't harm anything else, and it worked well, but don't all slug pellets use bait?  This seems counter productive - I want fewer of them in the plot, not to attract more, even if it is so that they can meet their maker.

Yes, very effective. It's not cheap, so it's not really feasible for a whole allotment. We just water it on selected beds, on lettuce and stuff, or in tubs & troughs. Mid-April is the usual time (it has to be repeated after, I think, 8 or 10 weeks), but it's dependent on soil temperature. We buy ours from English Woodlands (01798-867574): the lovely lady on the other end of the telephone will advise you.

We are on heavy clay, which isn't the Nematodes favourite, have been using it for years, but never get round to the second follow up application, and it has made a cumulative difference.

I agree, it is a product I like, it isn't cheap but it does what it says on the label. XX Jeannine
