comfrey help!?!

a newbie question here, hoping for some information.

i,ve had an allotment now for a few months and i'd really like to grow the none invasive comfrey to use as a fertilizer etc, but no-one else is growing it on my site and i'm not keen on scrabbling around other plots looking for something i'm not sure on the looks of!!! (plus its not good manners).
is there anywhere that you know of that sells either seeds or plugs as my searching has ran aground?  :(

Comfrey will spread unless you keep it contained - I have an old rusted oil drum (with a big hole in the bottom) that I have pain-stakingly buried in my plot and it happily contains my comfrey.

I have a similar technique I have used with the mint...

The clone Bocking 14 (?) is not as invasive and doesn't set seed allegedly...
