I am interested in anything like this as I only really have my patio available to me. I was thinking of buying some link-a-bords (google) to put on my patio, but have decided instead to have a go at growing in pots this year.

I will let you know how I get on, but might end up buying some link-a-bords to try those too.

Tim, if you're reading this I'd love to hear your take on link-a-bords. If I do end up getting some, they will be on my patio, not laid onto soil, and I thought about getting twice the depth. Any advice?

I popped in the chatroom last night but Tim had gone. I did get chatting to lots of other really helpful people though who container garden themselves (or have done) so I got lots of advice off them.
