Archiving with Blogger

Hi all,
I'm trying to tidy up my blog and want to archive my old posts, I've followed the instructions on the Help section, have selected the Monthly option but then it says to republish the blog, which is now not possible with the "new updated better than ever with all new features and no problems whatsoever" blogger.  How can I do it?

sorry Sally, not tried it yet - only just upgraded my blogger account to the 'new and improved' Google account.

Hmmm, the problem seems to have sorted itself out!  From reading through the Help section there seems to be quite a few problems with the "new" blogger.  Oh dear...  :(
