hi all, newbie here,  2nd year of attempting to grow veg - last year was a bit (well,  ok,  VERY ;) ) disorganised,  stuff got chucked into beds as soon as I got some weeds removed.  But the tomatoes got thrown into a narrow raised bank-side up against a south facing dry-stone wall,  and did fabulously,  esp. considering our garden is so exposed and wind blown.

so,  my question is,  can I keep growing tomatoes in the same place year after year?  What can I do to help prevent problems?  I don't have a green-house,  and am still repeatedly slicing my fingers on the  remains of a previous green house on the site,  destroyed by wind.

many thanks

rn

We all inherit a glass mine! You can grow them in the black plastic buckets with the bottoms taken out... most pests/diseases can then be thrown at the end of the season...
