Thanks Chris do you know what fruit trees they will have ???
Will call in to sons for a cuppa as he lives just round the corner from one  ;D

Looks like they are mixed packs....

"What a fruity bunch â€" four different variety packs, each containing three soft fruits, root-balled into green root bags with moist peat.

Varieties: Raspberry, Blackberry, Tayberry, Gooseberry, Redcurrant, Blackcurrant"

I think I could find some space to try a Tayberry.. ;D
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

I'll have to go tomorrow, not that I need any more seeds or fruit bushes.  ::)

The tripple fruit packs look amazing value.

Our Poundland had loads of fruit bushes yesterday - bought a black currant.

Laney

I wasn't planning on those, but I'll have to give it a go at that price.  :o I pick my blackberries wild, so I'm going to try something else.  Thanks for the link!

The main purpose of holding children's parties is to remind yourself that there are children more awful than your own.

I got a load of fruit bushes from Aldi a few years ago - wonderful value and they are all doing well.

I wondered what the quality was like, thanks for the confirmation.   ;)

I want the raspberry, blackberry and tayberry pack so I'll be up there thursday morning.

I wonder what variety of rasp it is?

Deb P

From what I recall, they don't often say what varieties things are... :-\

There was a tayberry on the outside of 120 Deb., not my personal taste but bet you could get a free tip cutting from it!

cheers chris,

i want loads more fruit on my plot, it costs a fortune to buy, and shop bought's usually either tasteless or bitter.

Just bumping this up to remind everybody it's tomorrow.

I can't make it first thing, so I expect they'll be sold out by the time I get there. :'(

really annoyed. I just hiked 5 miles to Aldi only to be told that the fruit bushes hadn't appeared so to try again tomorrow.

Not going to bother, too much hassle.

Just got back from our local Aldi. They had loads in. Bought 3 packs all the same, 1 each of Blackberry, Redcurrant, and Gooseberry. We shall see how they do.
Wife also bought 2 Redcurrant and 1 Blackcurrant from £ shop, and mum has a few more Blackcurrant we have to dig out from her garden.
Think that's about enough for now, since we also have a full row of Autumn Bliss Raspberries already on the plot.
Grow your own and enjoy the fruits of your labours,
Regards Alan.
