This website has been printed in the weekly gardening section of my local newspaper today as a link to everything you want to or need to know about potatoes.

There is also a calander of up and coming potato events throughout the country.

Did you get there early Multiveg? I was there by 9:45am and the marquee was heaving... two queues so long that they met behind each other at the far end and you couldn't get to the Spuds! Got everything I wanted and more but the Anya had gone by about 10:00 am....

Details, details!
What did you purchase then, any goodies? ???

Some of us were out digging this afternoon, (first day it's been dry enough or not frosted this week!!) ;D
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

No, we left home before 9am for the 4 hour journey there. Arrived before 1pm and went straight to the tent. Spoke with GardenAntics about his latest recycled products - the plastic labels, and the old sweet-tins that have garden wire in that leads through a hole in the lid with a chopping thing on the lid - great idea. Also bought his instructions for reusing drinks cans for labelling.

Got some of that Solanum sisymbriifolium for controlling potato cyst nematode (PCN) aka eelworm.

Was surprised not to see Solanum (suppliers of spuds to Waitrose) there this year.

Forgot to bring seeds to swap so made some donations. Spoke to one of the Heritage Seed Library staff - she's so enthusiastic about her job and the good work they do. We were late choosing the HSL varieties as we hand delivered the list. They had already received 4k of orders (24k of seed packets!).

Spuds, we didn't go mad as we did the first year we went! We concentrated mainly on earlies, though got a dozen of the Sarpo ones and some of the new varieties (don't even know whether they are earlies or maincrop!). Will eventually update the blog!

My small person wanted squatters rights in the children's house - it was his house and no one else was to be allowed in it!

We left about half 4 or so for the long drive back on the A5.
