So, H, how you goin' gal?

Me, I got 3 floors, oak slats, mahogany banisters, stairs, landings & half-landings to contend with..think a Rain Forest & double it? ..all but the bannisters painted......wish now I'd torched the b. lot & oiled or  varnished.....or really torched & collected on the insurance?

I love it here, but......

Right back to Neil.   "Crackling Rose you're a (don't know the words sounds like store board ???) woman, but you make me sing like a Guiiieetar humming so hang on to me girl our song keeps running oooooon!"
Check this out Heldi...

CRACKLIN' ROSIE
Written by Neil Diamond
Cracklin' Rosie, get on board
We're gonna ride till there ain't no more to go
Taking it slow
Lord, don't you know
Have me a time with a poor man's lady

Hitchin' on a twilight train
Ain't nothing there that I care to take along
Maybe a song
To sing when I want
Don't need to say please to no man for a happy tune

Oh, I love my Rosie child
She got the way to make me happy
You and me, we go in style
Cracklin' Rosie you're a store-bought woman
You make me sing like a guitar hummin'
So hang on to me, girl
Our song keeps runnin' on

Play it now
Play it now
Play it now, my baby

Cracklin' Rosie, make me a smile
God if it lasts for an hour, that's all right
We got all night
To set the world right
Find us a dream that don't asks no questions, yeah

Oh, I love my Rosie child
You got the way to make me happy
You and me, we go in style
Cracklin' Rosie, you're a store-bought woman
You make me sing like a guitar hummin'
So hang on to me, girl
Our song keeps runnin' on

Play it now
Play it now
Play it now, my baby

Cracklin' Rosie, make me a smile
God if it lasts for an hour, that's all right

Thank you to all who donated to the Moonlight Half Marathon Walk in aid of St Catherine's Hospice - my mum and I raised just over £300!!!    ............     Thanks!  :-)

Hee hee brilliant, thanks sally.!  "A store bought woman"  Whats one of those ?

Well I've done it! Way hey. All sanded and wiped down and cleaned up and, and, and.

Had a little of the Chili Peppers but then I started to listen to Harry Potter Half Blood Prince.  Nearly forgot to stop to go and get sproggles from school yesterday because I was too busy listening to the cd.

Sanded my thumb down to blood, had to wear rubber for the last few spindles. OOER!

Paint next, all white gloss, but OH reckons he'll do it. Yeah right.   ::)
