eek! ::)

what are you growing?
do they have enough light?
are they too hot?

as they grow they will fill out to some extent
when planting out, plant up to first seed leaves

well that's a start :-\ what do you think?

SSx

OliveOil

I have NO idea what i am doing wrong... this happens with everything i bloomin grow!

Today all seedlings - first seed leaf stage only are hitting the top of the bloomin roof of the trainers - i kid you not!

I have them on my windowsill and its not particularly warm in my kitchen as there is no radiator in there

Am growing lettuce (lollo rosso), mixed salad leaves, kale, spinach... these are the leggiest!

OliveOil

I guess too warm by the sounds of it... only other place to put them is outside in the daytime... i think i will dib right down and get the stems in for now and see how that goes

supersprout

Well like tim says there's always another way ::) Just a thought ... when did you take the cover off? I turn the cover for ventilation a few days after they sprout, and it off completely when there are two healthy seed leaves. Good luck OO :)

OliveOil

Ahhh there we go - i took the top off when the first 2 leaves hit the roof!

They arent looking good i have to say - and are growing profusely!

supersprout

awww OO if it makes you feel better the turnip rooted chervil in modules here are doing the opposite, just sitting there doing nowt >:(  :'( ???
the uncertainty makes growing extra spicy? ::)
