Conifers.

I am very tired but so happy. At last all my conifers have been cut down. Friend came with chain saw. Luckily for me Lorna was at home today so while friend was cutting we loaded his trailer (well Lorna did  most of the work). Keith came back for another trailer load, and then another in the morning at 7.30am rest he will collect when he gets time. Reckon another three loads.
I now have an area  1mtr wide and approx 15mtrs long so more growing area next year. I dug the whole border this afternoon, glad we have lovely easy soil to dig!!

Lish, I have got the bit between my teeth (pun?) Dog not here over the weekend so her area of car will be filled with horse poo. Son-in-law is coming back with me to unload then going for second lot. Then have got to box up about 200 plant pots so that Joshua's Dad can take them to the tip tomorrow. Must be the lovely weather every one is being so helpful!! My back is really creaking but a couple of pain killers will help. Can't miss the golden opportunities ;D
