Hi all, i have inherited a dracaena marginata, but it seems to be really droopy, all the leaves are hanging down and it just seem a bit like it's lost its mojo  :( . Any ideas? Thanks in advance! x

well....the lower leaves do fall off over time giving way to the stem that gets taller. but if the whole thing is drooping then it'd say it's probably either over watered or under watered. have a look at the roots....if the soil is dry and the roots are white then give it a good watering and some food to give it a good start. if the roots seem to have gone brown and the soil is wet then give it better drainage. probably pot it into some gritty compost with crocks at the bottom and again give it a good feed.

and put it in a sunny position away from direct light.

hope that helps :)

I think wahaj has given you some sound advice ;) they are drought tolerant but need just a little water in winter to help stop the leaves from dropping, although I lost mine to woolly aphids :'(
