I just received some Japanese onions from the organic plants people & was amazed to find small plants like spring onions.  I had been expecting onion sets like I have grown for the past few years.  Obviously silly me but what do I do with them?  ???

You can pot them on for a couple of weeks but like MT says best just to plant them out... I would have expected sets as well... got several hundred started in cells last weekend...

Thanks for advice.  I have plonked them in pots but they will have to wait till the weekend. I think I might order some sets as well.
