Arum Lillies

I have two MASSIVE Arum plants that need splitting into several pieces. If someone can tell me the best time to split them and how to transport the pieces I would be more than pleased to share them out. They have flowered the socks off all summer (what summer) and are still at it. I have cut so many blooms for my home and other I have lost count.

Do you mean arums or arum lilies? Arums don't particularly like being disturbed; the best time to split a clump is when they're dormant in summer, but it can be dome at any time. They're likely to sulk for a couple of years afterwards. I've done it with the common Lords and Ladies, italicum and creticum, and the only problem I've ever had is that they do look pretty sad for a year or so afterwards.

Soz I meant Arum Lilies.  I did split them about 3 years ago but for the life os me I cannot remember when. They did more then thrive when I did it last, they romped away

I thought you did. I've never grown them, though I'd be interested in plants. Probably in the autumn, like most things, but see what other people say.

They're Zantedeschia aethiopica, best time to split them is in spring.
