Help! Doing a car boot sale for Diabetes charities on Sunday, someone has given us a few Hard Drives, Monitors and keyboards which they said we could sell for spares. If we don't sell them (highly likely!) are there rules about how to get rid of them?

How did the car boot sale go, Katy? And did you manage to shift the computer parts or did you have to resort to 'Impact Technology'?

Thanks for reminding everyone Lish!

We made £970! It's for a local Diabetes Centre which we are hoping to build in the Trafford area of Manchester. Didn't take the computer bits, we didn't have enough cars! Will be recycling the bits via a local group, impact engineering notwithstanding! (That means hitting the important bits with a hammer)

Hey!Well done!! Very many congratulations indeed 8) That's a huge amount for a Sunday's work and for an excellent cause, too. You must all be well-pleased, eh?

weedbusta

wow, well done. that's an amazing amount of money to raise.

Well done Katy (amd gang) that is a fantastic amount of money to raise. Makes you wonder where most of these needy causes would be without the help that is given so willingly by groups of people. Many congratulations.
Lorna.

Hi Katie
That's really good news, my daughter is a patient with the existing Diabetes Team in Trafford and I canot fault her care which has been fantastic.

Lol so Petra, you know the usual suspects I have been at the car boot sale with! They work soooo hard, I have rarely met a group of people so committed to what they do, your daughter is in good hands!
