We'd guess somewhere near St Brieuc.

Don't French markets always make food seem so appealing? You can almost taste the produce just from the pictures.

We're off to the Tarn region in a couple of weeks and can't wait to start shopping on the markets. We're really looking forward to some great pink garlic and making pans of cassolet.

Once upon a time we were the newbies from Harley allotments. Now we're old codgers!

Matignon in Brittany, Lorna.  The place didn't really have anything else to recommend it.  We were just passing through on our cycle "tour"

Enjoy the Tarn Phil and Jan.  Look out for a lovely, light, slightly sparkling wine called. "Perle"

Thanks Flossie! Took me right back to my holiday in June! Loved the markets and bought a basket to go shopping with, still have it. Took it to tesco (sorry) for my shopping this week...just for cleaning stuff and loo rolls! If Alan Titchmarsh can take a wheelbarrow...

I've never been to France but have been to Morroco and Tunisia. I was amazed at the cougettes growing in Tunisia cos it's really dry there. The veg in Morroco  was lovely too
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"
