Hosepipe

Reading about watering and use of hosepipes, If any help though more experienced guys and lasses here, but i do the following in my garden, and will try same method down allotment.

I connect a hose lock end to my water butt and let nature and gravity do the rest,

admit on me garden i use about 5meters length and lay pipe on ground and pull it slowly at ground level,

may be bit comberson but does seem to  work.

I only use the hose to top up my Butts from the tap if it gets low... then can it from the Butt... mulches and sunk pots near specific plants reduce the need for water to a minimum..
