Der's a hole in my pond dear Liza...and a surprise!

Had to drain the pond this afternoon as it has been losing water at an alarming rate.

Had a 'visit' from a Heron a couple of days ago and we reckon he was responsible for  the punctures in the pond liner.

He also made a away with some fish so we were very happy to find, as we rescued them to a dustbin for the mending process, that we have some baby goldfish!
