Leeks!!!

Well, I knew there was something I didn't do right, I put the last of my leeks in today and didn't top and tail them, nor did I drop them in and fill with water.... I filled in with earth then watered...

Me too lin, it's an experiment - much quicker than the holes - if it works, I'll do it again ;D
BTW Joy Larkcombe says this is one way to do it, so not too risky for an alternative?
