Weeding in the hot weather

I think this hot weather's great for weeding things like bindweed, as you can pull it out and then leave on the surface of a path or carpet or ground cover for a few days, and it dries up. At which point you can put it in the compost heap without worrying that it will regenerate. I hate lugging loads of soggy perennial weeds to the dump's green waste skip.

I never realised that there was so much to weeding.....I have witnessed hoed weeds re-rooted into damp soil just like you say Tim. I therefore always try to hoe in dry conditions. I'm still fighting a battle though  :)
