Cucumbers

Hi,
I have two cucumber plants in my greenhouse, (Petita) in a bed about 18" apart, one of them has gone mildewy and white at the top, and is now looking decidedly sick. I'm pretty sure I have lost this one, can anyone tell me what the problem could be, and will it affect my second plant ?????

Try a bit more ventilation, this has not been a good year for cucs due to the very low tempratures on a night, sow some more, there is still time.
