if I start any more I don't think I've enough room for them :'(

I chitted a few and sowed them alongside my little gem lettuces. They can grow there nicely when the salad is finished and they are about an inch high already!

Pesky pigeons have eaten all mine - so i have to start again.

I normally grow about 25 - 30 plants and get about 60 - 70 cobs. I blanch them for 2 minutes then freeze. To cook them (from frozen) i wrap them in foil with some butter an pepper, and stick in a hot oven for about 30 - 40 minutes.

I direct sowed some mini cobs today so hoping they'll survive any slug attacks that we get. The packet says they crop in August . :)

I've got 20 plants planted out (about 3" high) and another 20 or so germinating in the potting shed.  First year growing it and am pretty pleased so far.

OH has suggested that we may need another freezer and from reading above posts, think he's probably right.
