Hi Rhoda,

Nice to see you here!  Have you worked out the pms yet?  If not, go up to the very top of the page & there's a line which says something like "Hey Rhoda, you have? messages, ? are new" - click on messages & it will take you to your inbox.  In the left-hand menu click on new message.  Click on search for members, type in GardenMouse, & click on the name of the right result (though I don't imagine there are more than one GardenMouse) - it will then appear in the "to" box & you can type your message.

So this is where you hang out these days!  I must confess I find the  A4A board visually quite difficult - there is so much going on!  The Beeb boards are quite cheerful these days - at the moment the Mods are the common enemy as they have taken away the quoting facility.  At least this stops us from in-fighting! (Touch wood).  And Chelsea is coming up so that will give us all something to cheer/moan about.

Ooooh Rhoda I found the quoting thingy on the Beeb really annoying...all those little boxes. I might be able to follow a whole thread now!  Why have they taken it away? Have you all been naughty lol!

I found it took a little while to get to grips over here.  I started in the pond section and gradually radiated out around the boards! Don't give up because I know for a fact you'll be made very welcome and all your gardening knowledge will be really appreciated! I don't help anyone,I just prattle about and seem to get away with it...nothing changed there then  :D

This is the woman who greatly encouraged me to grow veg folks!!

Thanks for the replies.  The worry is, of course, that if I start posting here I will be even more distracted from the jobs I am supposed to be getting on with on the computer,  writing letters of complaint, juggling finances  - all those things that I would rather not be doing.  Hmm that sounds like a good idea........
