Tumbling Toms queries

Iv'e had my seeds sowing in the conservatory for a few weeks and they are currently about 1/half inches high.
When do i transfer them to my deep hanging baskets?
Iv'e got my slow release fertiliseer ready also my water retaining crystals at the ready,it's just that i'm not sure what height should i transfer them from their pots.

Bit early yet as there is still the risk of a frost.

You can pot them on into larger pots in the interim, I tend to do so when they are about 4" tall. They then also start to bend over or tumble.

May time they go outside but I move them in if a chill is expected. I am near the south coast so you need to adjust this timing if further north or south.

My Tumbling Toms sowing advice was to sow about now and plant out late May/early June, i.e. when the frosts have gone for good.

If they are a bit big for the pot, then have you a shed/greenhouse you can hang the basket inside until June?

It`s far too early yet-patience!. I grow and sell `Tumbler`but IMO `Tiny Tim` has more flavour and is not a hybrid so you can save your own seeds.

Ive got some 'hanging' toms growing but I don't actually want them to hang anywhere - can I grow the up something instead or even let them ramble over a bed?

Yes of course you can Amanda-there are no rules-but you might want to keep the fruit away from soil splash
